What you'll learn
Ground School

Pre-Flight Operations

Basic Maneuvers
Climbs, descents, turns, slow flight, and stalls
Takeoffs & Landings
Normal, crosswind, and short/soft field operations
Navigation
Pilotage, dead reckoning, VOR, and GPS navigation
Emergency Procedures
Engine failures, lost procedures, and emergency landings
Prerequisites
Requirements
- Be at least 17 years old
- Read, speak, and understand English
- Hold at least a 3rd class medical certificate
- Pass the FAA written knowledge test
- Complete required flight training
