Common questions
Do I have to fly with CFI United?
No. Online ground school is open to students anywhere in the US, including those who fly with another school or instructor.
What do I need to join sessions?
A computer or tablet with a camera, a microphone, and a reliable internet connection. We meet on Zoom, Google Meet, or Webex.
Is the knowledge test endorsement included?
Yes. The FAA requires an instructor endorsement to take the knowledge test. Once your instructor determines you’re prepared, they provide it.
Can I continue to flight training afterwards?
Yes. Students near Fort Lauderdale can continue with flight training in our Cirrus SR20 at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE).
